Assistant Manager - Business Finance

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join the Business Finance team. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to drive financial planning, analysis, and decision-making support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Track business performance against financial targets
Prepare monthly MIS reports and dashboards
2. Business Partnering
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Product)
Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions
Evaluate new business initiatives and cost optimization opportunities
3. Financial Reporting
Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities
Analyze revenue, costs, and profitability across business segments
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
4. Data Analysis & Insights
Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends and risks
Build financial models to support business cases
Drive automation and process improvements
5. Compliance & Controls
Ensure adherence to internal financial controls
Support audits and regulatory requirements
Qualifications/Skills
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
CA Fresher or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of financial modeling is a plus
Good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Skills (Good to have)
Exposure to FP&A / Business Finance during articleship or work experience
Familiarity with tools like Power BI, SQL, or ERP systems
