Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate life insurance applications, including medical records and financial statements, to assess the risk of insuring clients.

  • Analyze complex medical and financial information to make informed underwriting decisions.

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting teams and product specialists, to gather information and coordinate underwriting decisions.

  • Collaborate with external clients, including medical professionals and financial advisors, to gather information and provide underwriting decisions.

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of life insurance policies, medical underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices to ensure accurate and timely underwriting decisions.

  • Lead underwriting teams and provide guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely underwriting decisions.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with life insurance applications, including fraud and non-compliance.

Skills & Qualification

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex medical and financial information.

  • Deep understanding of life insurance policies, medical underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to review and interpret medical records, financial statements, and other relevant documents.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients.

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.

  • Familiarity with life insurance industry standards and best practices.
