About the Role

We’re looking for an SDE 2 who enjoys solving complex engineering problems and building scalable, reliable products that have a direct business impact.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, owning problems end-to-end — from understanding requirements and designing solutions to writing production-quality code, testing, and deployment. We’re particularly interested in engineers who bring a full-stack mindset, with exposure to frontend development in addition to strong backend expertise.

What we’re looking for

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience, preferably building and scaling consumer-facing or large-scale applications.

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, system design, and problem-solving.

• Strong understanding of time and space complexity and the ability to make sound engineering trade-offs.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and building production-grade backend systems.

• Excellent coding skills with the ability to translate product and technical requirements into clean, maintainable code.

• Experience working with databases, Linux, APIs, and distributed systems.

• Exposure to frontend technologies and a willingness to work across the stack. Full-stack experience will be an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of software engineering practices including unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and coding standards.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools effectively in day-to-day engineering — including code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, and development productivity, with the ability to validate AI-generated output.

• B.Tech / B.E in Computer Science or a related discipline from a reputed institution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, reliable and high-performance software systems.

• Own technical problems end-to-end and translate business requirements into robust engineering solutions.

• Contribute to HLD/LLD, system design and architectural decisions for large-scale applications.

• Write clean, efficient, testable and maintainable code.

• Participate actively in code reviews, testing, release cycles and production ownership.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data and other engineering teams throughout the SDLC.

• Work across the backend and frontend stack where required to solve problems end-to-end.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows while maintaining high standards of code quality, security and reliability.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and team building.

• Take ownership of delivery and ensure commitments are met with a strong focus on quality and customer/business impact.
