COMPANY OVERVIEW

Air Doctor (air-dr.com) is an award winning insurtech in the travel insurance space. We operate an easy-to-use app connecting travelers to a global network of 20 thousand doctors in 78 countries. Our platform enables scheduling clinic visits, home/hotel visits and videoconsultations, with both primary care doctors and specialists. We cooperate with travel insurance companies and travel assistance companies to provide a fully digital, cashless and claimless experience for their clients. Booking self-pay visits is also possible via our app.

Air Doctor already cooperates with several renowned European travel insurance companies and has successfully launched its first partnerships with American business clients. We are planning to rapidly expand our North American business and are recruiting a Sales Director, US and Canada to lead this effort. As our American business grows, this role has the potential to evolve into a broader regional management role with cross-functional responsibility.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Sales Director, US and Canada,

Location: US East Coast or Mid-West, working from home, with travel as needed.

Reporting to Deputy CEO and Chief Business Officer, located in Europe.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Contract new business clients in the US and Canada – primarily travel insurance and travel assistance companies, as well as potentially other players in the the travel ecosystem.
  • Support activation of these business clients (i.e. usage of the Air Doctor platform, by travel insurance policyholders once the B2B contracts have been signed), in cooperation with Air Doctor’s account management and marketing functions.
  • Cooperate with other company functions to develop budgets and go to market strategies.

Desired candidate profile:

  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven and independent.
  • Senior individual contributor or manager.
  • Proven ability to lead a B2B sales process and close contracts.
  • Able to quickly learn key aspects of the Air Doctor value proposition (customer service benefits and financial benefits) and of the implementation pathway (high-level IT integration and business process design) and to convey them to clients in a consultative sales process.
  • Able to work collaboratively in an international organization.
  • Any of the below will be considered a plus:

- Experience in the travel insurance industry or in the P&C insurance industry.

-Experience in selling software or services to the insurance industry.
