Sales Manager
Air Doctor
Air Doctor seeks to recruit a Sales Manager, to join the firm during this exciting phase of growth and scaling. The company is moving toward profitability and has a number of partners and customers across the globe. The newly appointed North America Sales leader will report to SVP Global Sales, who is based at company HQ in Israel and runs all commercial relationships for Air Doctor.
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as trusted adviser and partner to company leadership in establishing GTM strategy focused on the US – the company’s most significant target market
- Oversee all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, opportunity management, pipeline and business development, and partner, and relationship management
- Develop, manage and implement effective sales processes, tools and systems that position the company for future growth and success, working in close partnership with BDat HQ
- Collaborate with Air Doctor team members to manage sales strategy and delivery / implementation, bearing in mind top and bottom-line implications of decisioning
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify and capitalize on opportunities, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers and partners. Liaise closely with the customer success team, and provide creative solutions to drive enhanced marketplace visibility as well as a clear differentiation of services offered by Air Doctor, from those offered by competitors
- Together with the SVP Sales, set regional (North America) sales targets, develop sales plans and eventually recruit, develop, and monitor account manager / team performance to ensure key objectives and OKRs are met
- Collaborate with marketing, customer success and other internal Air Doctor teams to ensure alignment and synergy in accelerating and growing commercial relationships. Provide input on market positioning and messaging specific to the US market, to support commercial development and pursuit efforts.
IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of success serving as consultative sales leader and business driver/developer and closer, ideally selling into the insurance market today
- Entrepreneurial orientation and self starter: knows what questions to ask and brings in colleagues where necessary to accelerate the discussion
- Solid business understanding and strategic thinker with bottom line orientation
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed and global operating environment
- Solid negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for informed decision making
- Insurance industry experience is important for candidate consideration, coupled with relationships at relevant, strategic decision making levels within target companies
- Leadership and management aspirations with the ability to eventually grow and develop a high performing sales and business development team
- Track record creating and/or working on strategic partnerships
- Ability to travel -- mostly regionally though with some international travel as required
- Comfortable with change and ambiguity – enjoys the journey and seeks long term personal and professional growth and achievement
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant competency is important for candidate consideration
