A day in the life
As a Risk Manager at ManyPets, you will provide commercially focused advice that mitigates risk and promotes compliance with our regulatory framework, particularly with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You will take the lead in operational risk management, risk reporting, and framework development, ensuring the business stays within its risk appetite while managing growth and strategic initiatives. You’ll guide teams and senior leaders through managing risk, providing second-line advice, and offering critical insights on breaches and emerging issues.
Our UK business has undergone significant transformation over the past year. We’ve reshaped the Many Group by streamlining our UK operations and exiting the US market. We’ve stabilised our loss ratio, reset operations, and are nearly finished reorganising our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). With these foundations in place, we’re now focused on driving growth in the 2025/26 financial year. The Risk and Compliance team plays a vital role in enabling this growth by providing high-quality, agile, and commercially focused risk oversight and regulatory guidance.
Reporting directly to the Group Head of Risk and Compliance, this is an opportunity to shape the UK risk management framework, challenge how we operate, and act as a catalyst for change. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how we manage risk as we continue to grow, supporting the team through strategic initiatives and driving improvements in risk management processes.
