The Role

At Flow Specialty, we are in a pivotal phase of growth and expansion. Our success hinges on the strength of our marketing efforts, and we are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to helm our marketing department. This role is critical in shaping the customer journey, refining our marketing strategies, enhancing processes, and nurturing our vibrant company culture.

You will lead all corporate marketing initiatives for Flow Specialty, encompassing: Strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives, managing events, overseeing social media, and collaborating with various teams to drive business growth. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with senior leadership to align marketing efforts with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Flow Specialty’s business objectives.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute marketing/sales events to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee and manage our LinkedIn presence, ensuring consistent and impactful communication.
  • PR & Vendor Management: Identify PR opportunities, manage relationships with PR agencies, negotiate contracts, and oversee partnerships with website designers and graphic designers.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work alongside the President of Brokerage to create sales collateral and support sales-related marketing activities, including onboarding and webinars.
  • Account-Based Marketing: Develop and implement account-based marketing strategies to target specific insurance and retail agencies, fostering awareness and conversion.
  • Lead Generation: Explore and evaluate broader lead generation initiatives to support meaningful sales conversions.
  • Team Development: Start with managing an editorial calendar in collaboration with our content writer
  • Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer to understand product offerings and integrate marketing strategies with product development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role from an industry selling services (not only SAAS), preferably in a high-growth company
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
  • Experience with PR, vendor management, and trade shows
  • Strong collaboration skills with sales and product teams
  • Ability to develop and implement account-based marketing strategies
  • Proactive, opinionated, and capable of producing high-quality materials
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural fit – collaborative, team-oriented, independent, and low-ego
