Location
Our team is based in Buffalo, NY. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and requires local candidates.
What You Will Do
The Marketing & Communications Manager leads HelixIntel’s brand strategy, driving external communications, press activity, and brand consistency across channels. This role is responsible for elevating our presence in the market, guiding our brand voice, and managing key agency relationships to ensure messaging is aligned and impactful. It combines strategic direction with hands-on execution to strengthen HelixIntel’s visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Messaging Oversight: Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all public-facing channels, aligned with our brand strategy and tone of voice.
- PR & Media Strategy: Develop and execute HelixIntel’s PR strategy, including press releases, media outreach, executive visibility, and thought leadership opportunities.
- Executive Visibility: Work closely with the leadership team to identify and secure speaking engagements, media features, and other high-profile brand opportunities.
- Agency Management: Manage external partners responsible for social media and website content, providing clear direction and approvals to maintain quality and alignment
- Brand Consistency & Alignment: Act as the internal lead for HelixIntel’s external voice, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across departments and channels.
- Content & Storytelling Development: Create long-form brand content, including customer stories, video scripts, executive messaging, and key narrative themes.
What You Will Bring:
- 5–7 years of experience in marketing, communications, PR, or brand strategy
- Strong writing and editing skills across formats, including press releases, executive messaging, website copy, and social media content
- Experience leading PR or media relations efforts, including drafting and distributing press releases and managing media outreach
- Familiarity with brand management, including setting tone, messaging, and visual consistency across channels
- Experience working with executive teams on visibility initiatives (e.g., speaking engagements, authored content, interviews)
- Bonus: Experience in B2B marketing or startup environments is a plus

Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000- $90,000. The range represents the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is influenced by the work location and other factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
