We are looking for a Tech Ops Specialist here at INSHUR, based in NYC. You’ll be working on re-inventing insurance in exciting markets across multiple territories, including the US, UK, and the Netherlands, and new European countries and US states.

What you'll do

As our TechOps Specialist you will be responsible for our company productivity hardware and software, including all laptops and devices. You’ll help develop our internal IT processes, be responsible for the budget to buy the hardware and software as required, and also be accountable for ensuring colleagues technology works as expected. We are looking to make our NY office a real hub for Inshur and as such you will need to be in the office 2/3 times a week.

Requirements

The below is a guideline of skills that we think would make you successful in this role. However, our hiring process is much more around aptitude and passion so don’t worry if you’ve not used a particular tool or checked off all the skills and experience listed above.

  • Have plenty of experience with IT support as an Analyst or Technician
  • Have experience supporting Mac and Windows devices remotely, using enterprise device management tools such as Jamf and Intune
  • You have experience managing users and applications in Google Workspace
  • Are an ambitious doer with a curiosity for all things Technology
  • Know what it takes to make sure a busy office has the right technology
  • Understand that life is better when things just work smoothly
  • Are passionate about developing your role and taking more responsibility as you gain experience

  • Providing a first class support service for our colleagues experiencing tech issues
  • Maintaining a robust knowledge base on processes and systems to allow for knowledge sharing across the team and wider company
  • Integration of our various systems and platforms to allow for automation as well as to reduce effort and risk

Our budget for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 and we will take into account your previous experience and location of work when agreeing on the final offer.
