We are looking for a Senior Complex Claims Technician to join us at INSHUR! You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely 🏠, while also connecting with your colleagues at our Brighton office on occasions for training and events.
You’ll be working on re-inventing insurance in exciting markets across multiple territories including the UK 🇬🇧, US 🇺🇸, and the Netherlands 🇳🇱, with plans to expand into new European countries.
Supported by (and reporting to) the team leader, you'll be joining a friendly team of claims professionals who thrive on delivering exceptional service to INSHUR customers.

What you'll do
As a Senior Complex Claims Technician you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end handling of third-party motor claims, ensuring efficient resolution.
You’ll be working on:
- Managing a portfolio of motor claims with a focus on large loss claims with an incurred value in excess of 50k.
- Planning case level strategy including assessment of contractual status, liability/forensic investigations, claimant enquiries etc. The role will involve attendance at conferences, hearings and the like where required.
- Handling complex litigation claims involving personal injury/credit hire and where required providing direction to more junior team members
- Assisting in both the development and enablement of know your opponent strategies at case level.
- Providing training support within the team and sharing knowledge to support best outcomes at case level.

- A vast amount of experience dealing with motor claims with extensive experience handling claims in excess of £50K in value.
- A confident and experienced communicator who is able to instruct solicitors, barristers and experts alike along with a desire to be a key part of a winning team.
- A claims professional who is able to both plan, articulate and then initiate case level strategy with the aim of developing a claim roadmap geared to achieving the best financial outcome.
- A Business Owners Mentality that drives your appetite for success whilst underpinning a passion to achieve case level outcomes that impact positively on the claims loss ratio.
- Are a team player able to use your interpersonal skills to assist, develop and nurture more junior members of the team.

First Interview: 60-minute video call to test your technical knowledge
Final Stage: 45-minute video call to have follow up and culture fit questions
