We started our journey in the Netherlands and with our mission to make business insurance fast, simple and fair we have been able to have a significant impact on that market. Since last year we also serve customers in France and Germany, and are rapidly expanding across the rest of Europe!

What you will be doing
As the (Senior) Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operational functions, ensuring smooth execution across Customer Support, Claims handling, Sales and several internal workflows.
- Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Optimize and streamline business processes, identifying opportunities for automation, Artificial Intelligence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Insurance, Tech, Growth and Finance teams to enhance internal systems and customer experience.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met across all markets where we operate.
- Manage key operational metrics, analyzing data to improve performance and drive strategic decision-making.
- Manage the performance of external partners handling critical business processes, ensuring seamless execution, alignment with strategic goals, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
What you'll need
- A Bachelor degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in operations roles, with a proven track record of leading teams in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
- Strong understanding of operational best practices, process optimization, and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A hands-on, proactive approach, with a passion for innovation and operational excellence.
- You hold a WFT Basis certification or are willing to obtain it in the short term.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required; additional European languages (such as French) are a plus.
