About Insify
Insify is building the next generation of business insurance — one that’s fully digital, AI-native, and actually works for the entrepreneurs powering our economy. While personal insurance has embraced digital transformation, business insurance is still stuck in the dark ages: clunky forms, human bottlenecks, and outdated risk models. For self-employed professionals and SMEs, that means poor coverage, opaque pricing, and slow service — when speed and trust matter most.
We’re here to fix that by fundamentally rewiring how insurance for freelancers and small businesses is built and delivered. Insify is an AI-first insurtech, applying advanced models across the entire value chain — from intelligent underwriting and dynamic pricing to automated claims and fraud detection. Our approach isn’t just digital; it’s predictive, scalable, and designed for real-time decision-making.
We’re a well-funded, fast-growing scale-up based in Amsterdam, backed by top-tier investors including Accel, Munich Re Ventures, Visionaries Club, and Frontline Ventures. With a high-performing team of 65 and a proven model, we’ve built a platform that powers digital insurance for tens of thousands of entrepreneurs across Europe — and we’re just getting started.
This is your chance to build the insurance experience that freelancers and SME's truly deserve. Creating customer-centric products with real impact by solving hard product problems in a regulated environment. If you’re driven by data, complexity, and the chance to reshape a $5 trillion industry with modern tech — let’s talk.
How we work
At Insify, we’re building more than just an insurance company—we’re creating a culture that’s bold, caring, and built to make a real difference. Everything we do is driven by our core values: grit, impact, care, and entrepreneurship.
We show up with passion and perseverance. We solve real problems and put people first—especially our customers. And we’re always looking for smarter, faster, more human ways to do things.
That’s also why we’ve chosen a pro-office approach. We believe that working together, face to face, sparks creativity, builds stronger teams, and helps us learn faster—especially for new joiners. From spontaneous brainstorms to shared lunches, being in the same space makes the magic happen.
Joining Insify means being part of a team that truly backs each other and the entrepreneurs we serve. If you’re ready to grow, innovate, and help reshape the insurance industry from the inside out—we’d love to meet you.
Product Team
We’re a passionate group of problem solvers who believe in creating products that truly make a difference. At Insify, our product team is at the heart of innovation, working together to design solutions that simplify and enhance the customer experience. From brainstorming new ideas to launching successful products, we focus on building things that matter, backed by data and user feedback.
Whether it’s optimising existing features or developing new ones, we collaborate closely with our tech, insurance, marketing, and operations teams to bring our vision to life. Our team includes product managers, designers, data experts, and insurance specialists —all working hand in hand to craft products that delight our users and scale our business.
What you'll be doing
As the Product Manager for the Product Configuration Platform, you are the key driver behind how new insurance products are built into our core back-office platform — GRID — and into our customer-facing flows. You’ll partner with engineering to ensure new products are implemented correctly and lead the transformation toward a ‘self-serve’, configurable platform that allows the insurance team to independently launch and maintain new insurance products.
You are a strategic product manager who connects a long-term platform vision to a concrete, phased delivery plan. You’re someone who builds scalable systems, not just features—adept at simplifying complexity and making thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and scope.

In particular, you will:

  • Translate complex insurance product specs into structured, actionable platform requirements.
  • Collaborate with the GRID PM to ensure reliable, accurate, and scalable implementation of new insurance products in GRID, and work with the Funnel PM to ensure correct exposure in customer-facing funnels.
  • Lead the long-term effort to make the product implementation process radically more efficient, driving the vision and roadmap toward a platform where the insurance team can configure and launch new products without engineering involvement.
  • Identify patterns across product implementations and lead efforts to turn them into scalable templates or modules, developing frameworks that unify how coverages, pricing logic, and other product elements are handled.
  • Define standards for how insurance products are modeled in the platform, ensuring thorough validation of newly implemented products before launch and owning documentation and governance.

What you'll need:

  • Strategic & Outcome-Oriented Roadmapping: A track record of developing comprehensive delivery plans that go beyond feature lists to include clear phases, milestones, and dependencies. You excel at articulating the 'why' behind your plan and justifying trade-offs.
  • Pragmatic Platform Vision: Adept at translating high-level goals like 'no-code transformation' into a practical, incremental strategy. You understand the realities of building a true self-serve platform as an iterative journey, not a single project.
  • Deep Technical & Domain Abstraction: The ability to translate deep insurance logic into a common framework and canonical data models. You can design systems that handle diverse product structures (pricing, underwriting, eligibility) in a standardized way.
  • User-Centric Internal Tooling: Experience building internal tools for non-technical users, with the ability to design intuitive configuration frameworks that empower teams like Insurance and Ops while maintaining strong guardrails.
  • Clear Communication & Justification: Clarity in presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your recommendations are grounded in data and well-justified assumptions.
  • Exceptional Collaboration & Delivery: Experience navigating complexity, driving trade-off decisions, and ensuring the long-term maintainability of platform components. You are expected to own the delivery roadmap and effectively manage scope.
