Backed by the biggest names in insurance and tech, we're experiencing exponential growth and are seeking an enterprising and enthusiastic Insurance Product Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team.

We're inviting an enthusiastic and detail-oriented multi-tasker to join our Insurance team as a key contributor, overseeing post-bind underwriting reviews for workers compensation policies. You’ll ensure compliance, correct discrepancies, streamline processes, and uphold data integrity. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive efficiency and improve workflows, while staying informed on regulatory changes. What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct post-bind underwriting reviews for workers compensation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Report fraud issues as required by state
  • Provide coverage documentation, affidavits and testimony as needed by our claims team for claims adjudication
  • Evaluate post purchase policy change requests for approval to be processed
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies or errors in underwriting documentation and policy details.
  • Perform accurate data labeling, ensuring all workers compensation policy data is complete, and consistently formatted.
  • Develop and implement data validation checks to maintain high data integrity.
  • Streamline post-bind underwriting reviews to reduce turnaround times without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Suggest improvements to existing workflows and procedures to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies in all underwriting and data management activities.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes and apply them to underwriting and data labeling.
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance underwriting and data management processes.
  • Propose innovative solutions to common challenges in risk review and data labeling.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with departments like claims, risk management, and engineering.
  • Act as a liaison between product management and other teams for better coordination.
  • Pursue professional development in workers compensation underwriting and data management.
  • Share knowledge and best practices to promote a culture of learning and improvement.

What We Need:

  • Workers Compensation single risk underwriting and rating knowledge and experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in using insurance management systems and Google Workspace applications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, prioritize effectively, and make progress on all fronts
  • Familiarity with state Workers Compensation bureaus
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to drive process improvements
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to insurance

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location(s) listed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. NEXT employees are eligible to participate in our equity incentive program and will also receive our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.

US annual base salary range for this full-time position:
$85,000$98,000 USD
