This role will be part of the Investment & Asset Management Tower for Group Technology, responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and maintenance of all investment and asset management systems, applications, and platforms. The Tower manages the seamless transition of new systems or projects to steady-state operations and takes ownership of key business relationships, providing accurate metrics on uptime, issues, and resolutions.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated SimCorp Dimension (SCD) Specialist to take ownership of supporting the operation and development of our SCD front-to-back installation. The primary focus is on SCD front office and front office supporting modules as well as corresponding interfaces. Product ownership of further asset management applications connected to SCD is an option.
This position is suited for a technically proficient professional with deep knowledge of SimCorp Dimension architecture, configuration, and data flows, combined with a solid understanding of IT service management, system operations, and application lifecycle management. You will act as the bridge between IT operations, development teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring that the systems are stable, scalable, and continuously improved to support business needs.
Your job
- Ensure stable, secure, and efficient daily operations of SCD and related interfaces
- Drive continuous improvement and development of SCD to meet evolving business and operational requirements
- Manage business requirements and consult business to fulfill business strategy, using market and technical innovation knowledge
- Initiating projects or conducting implementation of change requests, planning and executing product releases, conducting sign-off procedures
- Manage incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with IT service management (ITSM) standards
- Ensure proper documentation, release management, and operational readiness for all application changes
- Support audits, compliance, and security requirements related to system operations and data integrity
- Be overall responsible for the whole service lifecycle for asset management products and services
- Work across teams and global locations in a seamless way
Your profile
- University degree, preferably in computer science, business administration, or similar qualification
- Expert level in SCD Front Office modules including Fix Trading
- Preferably good understanding in one or multiple of the following areas: Analytics, Benchmarks, Cash and Collateral Management, Reconciliation and Settlement
- Experience with communication servers and Crystal reports is a plus
- Experience in Cloud infrastructure (MS Azure), API usage is a plus (SQL, Python, JSON)
- Advanced business knowledge about asset and investment management processes
- Experience with ITIL processes to collaborate with infrastructure, operation, development and technical architecture
- Strong customer orientation and customer communication skills
- Familiarity with analytical and concept work regarding complex application operation landscapes and architectures
- Assertiveness, self-organized and proactive attitude
- Target-orientation and willingness to learn
- Distinct planning, organizational and negotiation as well as good mediator skills

Our base salary range for this role is between $110,000 - $140,000, plus an opportunity for an annual company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to internal equity.
This role is located in our Toronto office on 390 Bay St, and we operate in a hybrid work model. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
