Your mission
As Operations Associate, your mission is to support our Operations Team, especially but not only in HR and Marketing. This is not an administrative position but a position with real ownership from day one in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. You ensure that our recruiting runs smoothly, our knowledge base scales with increasing team size, we increase our top funnel with high quality marketing content (social media and gated content) and our business processes scale. By bringing structure, reliability, and a proactive mindset to day-to-day operations, you enable our team to focus on the next steps to grow our company.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Marketing:
  • Content creation for social media to enhance employer branding
  • Administrative and project management support for conferences, workshops and other events
  • Implementing marketing intelligence database of competitors, prospects and partners
  • Maintaining and expanding always up to date internal knowledge base
  • Supporting content creation like one pagers and brochures together with technical team
  • Increasing online company visibility through SEO and SEA
Human Resources:
  • Organize monthly onsite and hybrid team events
  • Support preparation and execution of summer offsite for whole company
  • Support operational excellence by optimizing MS Sharepoint, Confluence and MS Teams setup
  • Preparation and participation in recruiting fairs in Brunswick and other German cities
Your profile
These qualifications are a must:
  • Adaptability: You'll need to be flexible and able to adapt to evolving priorities, business strategies, and company goals.
  • Confidentiality: You'll have access to sensitive information, so maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality is crucial.
  • Team Player: Collaboration is a cornerstone of our company culture. You'll interact with various teams within the organization, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Your German and English level should be C1, spoken and written.
  • You are already located in Germany, ideally Brunswick because you will work onsite in our office in Brunswick. Therefore, for this position, we do not consider applicants with a residence outside Germany. Furthermore, we can not offer any VISA sponsorship.
  • Ideally, you are enrolled in a master's degree (or 5th+ semester in bachelor's degree), like technology-oriented management, industrial engineering, business administration, space engineering with practical business experience, (International) Marketing or Human Resources. You should be enrolled for at least the next 6 to 12 months, and understand this position as a potential stepping stone for your future career at OKAPI:Orbits.
  • For your application, please also share your past and current university reports including grades.
These qualifications are a bonus:
  • Tech-Savviness: A strong understanding of software and the space industry can be an advantage, as it will help you better comprehend the business and provide more effective support.
  • Previous Start-up/Work Experience: You have worked in a similar position before or in a high-paced startup/venture capital/consulting business
  • Website development: Either as a project manager you have already implemented/updated a company website or have developed it yourself
  • Graphic design: If you have already designed brochures, one pagers and websites in Adobe or similar tools
