Orbit Fab breaks the single-use paradigm, pioneering our Gas Stations in Space™ refueling infrastructure and RAFTI™ technology to deliver propellant in space, enabling lower-cost satellite construction, increased maneuverability, precise control, and extended lifespans. Since our establishment in 2018, we have already achieved the successful launch of three tankers to space. Orbit Fab is the leading provider of in-space refueling services and is seeking an ambitious sales professional to help make every satellite refuelable with an Orbit Fab “RAFTI” fueling port. As our lead Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our product sales efforts. You will serve as a point of contact for customers from early conversations through negotiations and purchase orders. You will be a big part of building a winning sales organization. We are seeking a dynamic networker who is adept at fostering customer relationships and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the space industry and an understanding of how products and services are procured within the satellite sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Forge and sustain key relationships with commercial entities within the space industry.
  • Build and sustain a strong list of potential clients, maintain the CRM and sales pipeline, track key metrics, and report on progress.
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the
    client’s business and technology needs.
  • Network widely to initiate conversations, daily calls, and emails.
  • Oversee the sales process at each stage from quote to purchasing to client satisfaction.
  • Develop winning bids and proposals for current and prospective clients; negotiate deals and communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Champion revenue growth and facilitate the expansion of our client base.
  • Develop, iterate, and execute on the product sales strategy.
  • Align the team to set and meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to maintain robust and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Monitor trends and developments related to our industry, business products,
    competition, processes, and operations.
  • Participate in conferences, events, and trade shows to generate sales opportunities.
  • This role will require travel up to 30% of the time.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and attention to detail.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 6 years of sales experience, and at least 2 years in aerospace or enterprise sales in a related field.
  • Understanding of space industry buyers.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Strong Communication: Effective at articulating concepts and influencing internal and
    external stakeholders.
  • Autonomous: A self-starter that takes initiative and independently drives progress towards company goals. Skilled in creating processes to streamline operations and reduce

Location and Benefits
