Runwise is looking for a Senior Account Executive who will be responsible for growing company revenue by exceptionally managing existing customer accounts, along with assuring new customers that investing in Runwise products and services is the right decision for their business. This candidate will lead by example and become the benchmark for excellence within our larger Sales organization and the account executive team. In addition, this candidate will be trusted with a wide array of customer facing presentations, sales proposals and negotiation, as well as soliciting customer feedback.

Runwise (www.runwise.com) is a fast-paced, customer-focused climate-tech startup that controls and runs the key energy systems (heating, water, etc…) in 3500+ buildings throughout the US. Runwise’s unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today, Runwise’s technology takes the equivalent of 50,000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year.

As a Senior AE at Runwise you will be supported by an experienced Sales Development team in a fast paced environment. You will have the ability to manage your own time and pipeline, set priorities, meet monthly goals and work directly with our Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer on the most pressing initiatives within our rapidly scaling business.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Building and maintaining a sales pipeline with a high conversion rate
  • Being ahead of the curve on all industry trends
  • Consistently identifying new sales opportunities through networking and customer referrals
  • Analyzing sales performance metrics and artfully negotiating contracts
  • Constantly demonstrating first-class communication, pipeline management and customer service skills to develop long-lasting relationships with customers
  • Helping to identify customer needs and communicate how company products and services may fulfill those needs
  • Meeting and, sometimes, exceeding sales quota on a quarterly and annual basis

Who you are:

  • You have worked 5+ years as an AE or Sr. AE sales role and have surpassed quota and/or was one of the highest revenue drivers in previous sales positions
  • You ideally have real estate experience and a deep network of contacts within the industry
  • You are skilled in CRM software, ideally Salesforce
  • You have outstanding negotiation, consulting, and customer facing sales skills
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills

Salary range: $120,000-$165,000 + commission (based on experience)
