- Full-time
Description
Sentra is a leading data cybersecurity platform, built to help organizations protect sensitive data across SaaS, IaaS, and on-prem environments. Our product enables enterprises to discover, classify, and secure data at scale – wherever it resides. We are now expanding our product management team with a Technical Product Manager focused on deployment.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager (TPM) who will own the onboarding experience of Sentra’s scanners – across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. This person will sit at the intersection of DevOps engineering, and product management, ensuring that Sentra is not only powerful and secure but also simple to install, configure, and scale for customers.
You will be responsible for defining how Sentra scanners are deployed in customer environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and on-prem – working with technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes operators. A critical part of this role is addressing the complexities of hybrid deployments, and at the same time, you’ll shape the user experience so that complex networking and infrastructure operations are abstracted into clear, reliable, and customer-friendly workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own product onboarding: Define and drive the roadmap for how Sentra is deployed and managed across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Networking strategy: Ensure onboarding works reliably in complex networking topologies (multi-cloud, hybrid, segmented on-prem networks), including integration with customer firewalls, routing rules, and identity proxies.
- Bridge DevOps and Product: Translate highly technical infrastructure and networking workflows into simple, repeatable product experiences that customers love.
Requirements
- +3 experience in software engineering with focus on cloud architecture, or previous experience as a Technical Product Manager working on cloud
- Cloud expertise: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem virtualization/VMware environments.
- Hands-on DevOps background: You have worked directly with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.
- Networking knowledge: Strong understanding of VPCs/VNets, peering, routing, DNS, proxies, VPNs, firewalls, private endpoints, and cross-cloud networking.
- Customer empathy: Ability to translate complex deployment and networking requirements into elegant product experiences.
- Strong communicator: Able to clearly articulate technical concepts to both engineers and business stakeholders.
