What you’ll do:

In this pioneering role, you will identify and secure new opportunities with potential and existing customers. Your territory will consist of enterprise level customers and your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the full sales-cycle and partner closely with the Marketing team
  • Manage comprehensive, long-term relationships with each customer, aiming to educate and adopt Sixfold across various lines of business
  • Deeply understand clients' businesses and strategic goals to effectively communicate the benefits of AI enabled underwriting
  • Proactively manage a pipeline of sales opportunities and maintain exceptional standards in client relationship management
  • Partner with Marketing and Solutions Engineering teams to drive market research and technical evaluations
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships, from individual contributors to the executive team
  • Represent the company with the highest level of professionalism and integrity
  • Attend industry conferences, events, and executive dinners to stay informed on industry trends and network with clients

Who you are:

  • Versed in Insurance: You understand the overall landscape of the commercial P&C industry. Experience in Life is a plus.
  • Driven by Customer Success: You thrive on closing complex deals while ensuring customers see the full value of our solution. Your sales approach focuses on understanding customer pain points and demonstrating how our platform solves their specific challenges.
  • Strategic Deal Navigator: You excel at managing complex sales cycles, orchestrating multiple stakeholders, and driving deals to closure. Your ability to anticipate objections and navigate procurement processes ensures consistent pipeline conversion.
  • Team Player: While you own your deals end-to-end, you know when to bring in solutions engineering, product, and leadership to maximize win rates. You contribute to team success by sharing best practices and market intelligence.
  • Clean and Detail-Oriented: You maintain rigorous deal hygiene and ensure the CRM is consistently updated with accurate, real-time information to provide clear visibility into pipeline status and sales progress
  • Empathetic Communication: You communicate with empathy, actively listening to customer concerns and delivering clear, timely, and effective responses that build trust and long-term relationships. Internally, you effectively convey customer needs to the team, ensuring alignment and a customer-centric approach to business development.

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of enterprise software sales experience
  • Proven track record of closing 6-7 figure ARR deals with 4+ month sales cycles
  • Deep understanding of insurance industry workflows, particularly in underwriting or claims
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions to enterprise customers; AI/ML experience are a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Strong relationships with insurance industry executives
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills / Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with technical discussions and product demonstrations

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our NYC office.
  • Expected full-time salary range between $130,000 to $150,000 + commission + equity + benefits.
  • Advertised and actual salary ranges may differ by geographic area, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
  • This position does not include visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
