About the Role
Sweet Security is looking for a BDR Manager to lead and scale our outbound engine as part of our fast growing GTM team.
In this role, you will manage a team of BDRs, owning pipeline generation and ensuring the team consistently meets high performance standards. You’ll play a critical role in shaping outbound strategy, coaching the team, and building a predictable, scalable pipeline engine. You’ll be part of the marketing organization and work closely with sales and product teams to drive targeted outreach, optimize messaging, and ensure strong conversion from first touch to qualified opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of BDRs to meet and exceed pipeline targets
- Own pipeline generation and track performance against key KPIs
- Drive high quality outbound across calls, email, and social
- Improve conversion rates through coaching, call reviews, and feedback
- Build and optimize scalable prospecting processes and playbooks
- Ensure CRM accuracy and clean pipeline tracking
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product to align on targets, messaging, and handoffs
- Monitor and drive BDR performance to consistently exceed KPIs, ensuring the team hits growth targets both individually and collectively."
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Development / Business Development, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or team lead role
- Proven track record of building pipeline and managing BDR/SDR performance
- Experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in cybersecurity or cloud security
- Strong understanding of outbound methodologies and sales funnels,
- Hands-on experience with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft)
- Define the framework for inbound lead management and optimize the end-to-end MQL to SQL conversion lifecycle.
- Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership skills
- Data driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and drive improvements
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth startup environment
- Experience managing BDR teams in a hyper growth startup- an advantage
- Background in cloud security or developer focused products- an advantage
- Experience building outbound processes from scratch- an advantage

Compensation Disclosure
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

A base salary range of $115,000 – $125,000, depending on experience and location
