What the Job Entails
As adoption of Notch accelerates among ambitious brands, we’re building a Forward Deployed Engineering team to ensure seamless, high-impact deployments. As an FDE, you’ll embed with strategic customers, solve unique technical challenges in real-world environments, and feed those learnings directly back into our core product and research loop.
About You:
- Have 4+ years of engineering experience, ideally in customer-facing or consultative roles.
- Enjoy rapid prototyping and delivering real-world impact in fast-moving environments.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Are comfortable working autonomously in high-context settings.
- Want to work in-person, shoulder-to-shoulder with a high-performing team, every day.
- Have a strong understanding of API security & authentication protocols (API keys, basic auth, JWT, Oauth)
- Have a strong understanding of network protocols: HTTP (verbs, headers, payloads, status codes, CORS, redirections, browser behavior w.r.t codes & headers), REST, GRAPHQL, XML payloads, retry mechanisms.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate directly with customers to design and deliver custom implementations that maximize the value of Notch.
- Lead high-stakes technical projects, from discovery to production deployment.
- Architect full-stack solutions that bridge customer systems with Notch’s platform.
- Translate business needs into technical blueprints, partnering with GTM and product teams to ensure long-term success.
- Drive insights back into our roadmap to make future deployments faster, easier, and more scalable.
